About a year ago, John Hacker, my personal trainer from the movie, convinced me to jump in the pool under his supervision. I was reluctant at first, but soon found out how beneficial swimming is for strengthening core muscles and building abs. This video covers everything you’ll need to know to perform the front crawl and improve your stoke technique. By default, you’ll also be getting more fit. Hope you like it!

Remember to rest one minute in between sets.

What Is A Green Smoothie?

A green smoothie is a homemade drink made from fresh leafy greens, such as, kale, collards, Swiss chard, and spinach, and fresh, ripe fruit. When you blend greens together with fruit, you create a concoction that is both delicious and nutritious. This enables you to easily and painlessly consume lots of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants and reap the associated health benefits.

Since my mother, Victoria Boutenko, invented green smoothies in 2004, my family has been conducting seminars and week long green smoothie retreats all over the world. At these events, I’ve witnessed how a simple dietary shift (regular intake of green smoothies) can help those struggling with health problems regain their health.

I became curious what effects (if any) would occur if seemly healthy, athletic people were put on this same smoothie protocol. Would they feel lighter on their feet? Would their endurance improve? Would they notice any other positive changes?

I searched the Internet for studies on this subject, but found nothing.  So I decided to conduct my own study. I rounded up 10 of my most active friends and put them on a green smoothie challenge for six weeks. Each athlete was put through vigorous blood tests and endurance tests and was instructed to intake one quart of freshly-made green smoothie daily in addition to his or her regular diet and exercise routine.  The entire experiment was closely monitored by qualified professionals in order to collect the cleanest data possible. January 27, 2016 Ashland, Oregon – PXL Media Studios launches NEW Website for Sergei Boutenko called www.iwantabsmovie.com, showcasing the latest documentary by Boutenko Films.

“I Want Abs” is not only documentary, but really is more of a personal journey about Sergei Boutenko’s desire to get more fit.  When asked, Boutenko states, “I’ve always dreamed of having abs, a v-shaped torso, solid arms, muscular legs, wicked core strength, and hardcore stamina. After looking at countless before and after photos on the web, I became super curious to see if I too could achieve my fitness goals. I was also interested how getting in shape would affect my life as a whole. Would I feel happier? Would my self-esteem improve? Would it be easier to move through life in a fit body? Or would I simply become a narcissistic egotist?”

Compelled by these questions and many others, Boutenko goes on to say, “I decided to make a documentary about my fitness journey. Using myself as a lab rat, I picked a start date (March 6th, 2015) and began shooting I Want Abs.” …And as the saying goes, the rest is history.
